Boiling Point: Deaerator vs Condensate System

Posted by Ritchie Ware on Dec 3, 2015 3:50:00 PM

WARE Rental Boiler Louisville KYNext week, we will be headed to Power-Gen in Las Vegas, so we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to talk about a deaerator system and condensate system.

Today on the Boiling Point, Ritchie talks with Steven about the differences between a deaerator system and a condensate system. Both of these systems are able to preheat your feed water system and remove the oxygen from the water; however, they operate a bit differently. As we have mentioned before, water can be very corrosive to the metal in a steam system, so removing as much oxygen as possible is a priority.

Watch the video for more information on each system.
