If there's one thing we can't stress enough, it's safety in the boiler room. Boilers are incredible pieces of equipment weighing in at several hundred tons depending on the type. When working with this kind of equipment, it's imperative for everyone to be aware of the dangers, along with the precautions that are necessary to ensure a safe working environment.
What you may not know, however, is that WARE requires all of its employees to participate in a monthly safety class to brush up on safety skills and keep safety at the forefront of how we operate. And when we say that all employees have to attend, we mean it! No matter their role—receptionist, marketing, accounting, etc.—every employee at WARE must attend mandatory monthly safety training. It's that important to us!
WARE's Internal Safety Requirements
It is crucial for employees to know safe boiler operating procedures. Whether they work directly with boilers on a daily basis or just pass through the boiler room from time to time, knowledge is power and safety is our top concern. We know that this is a lot to ask of our employees and we truly appreciate them participating in safety class each month. We feel like it's just one more thing that sets us apart from other companies out there.
Brush up On Your Boiler Safety Skills
If you're a boiler operator or work in a boiler room, WARE offers a boiler training course called BoilerU that we highly recommend. WARE believes that anyone involved in the business of industrial boilers or boiler-related equipment should receive thorough instruction from experts in the field. BoilerU offers a detailed understanding of boiler functionality for the safest daily operations, the most efficient maintenance and repair, and the most accurate planning and purchasing. And the more knowledge you have, the greater your protection against incidents caused by human error.
