Making Tires with Steam - Steam Culture

What do vulcanization, treads, and steam all have in common?
Tires!

The more that we research the more applications for steam that we are learning about! Tires are just another example of an application where steam plays a big role. Green tires are placed into a mold and steam is injected at 300 degrees, the green tire then becomes pliable enough to take on the shape of the mold for the tire tread.
