You've heard us talk a lot about BoilerWAREhouse.com, our online boiler parts store. Through Facebook, YouTube, and our blog, we've been sharing updates about this new and growing sector of our business, including the fact that we now have more than 40,000 boiler parts in stock and ready to ship! If you need a boiler part, there's a good chance BoilerWAREhouse has what you're looking for.
Today we wanted to catch up with our parts manager, Brian, to hear from him some of the changes and updates that are occurring over at BoilerWAREhouse. These changes, by the way, are all positive and are here to help our customers navigate the website and find the part they need quickly. If we can make it easy for them to maintain their boiler or we supply a part that will help them remain operational, then we're doing our job!
Boiler Part Categories
One thing Brian pointed out was that he is constantly tweaking and updating the site navigation to make it easier to browse categories and subcategories. This helps the customer who is searching by a specific category of parts. Currently, the site has 21 alphabetized categories that drop down from the main menu bar. Choosing a top-level category will then enable customers to drill down further to find what they need.
Of course, if you're having trouble finding what you're looking for, a lot of customers use the chat feature and seem to find that a helpful option.
Boiler Part Best Sellers
One of the interesting things about running an online store is seeing some of the best sellers. Out of 40,000 parts available, Brian has informed us of three parts that customers continuously purchase:
- United Brass Valves
- York Shipley Gasket
- Mcdonnell Miller Low Water Cutoffs
Shipping Boiler Parts to Military Bases
One really cool customer we've been able to help recently was a military base. This particular military base has a number of firetube boilers. To supply their base stock with common gaskets and valves, they turned to BoilerWarehouse and found that they could find almost everything in a one stop shop. We know there are a lot of other bases out there with similar set-ups that have may different types of boilers and we'd would love to help them out as well.
So far everyone we speak to loves the site and the feedback has been good. If you've not had a chance to check it out, click here to browse around. Let us know what you think and what other improvements would make your online boiler parts shopping more enjoyable. Thanks to Brian for filling us in and giving us a quick glimpse into BoilerWAREhouse!
