When water molecules heat up, they attain kinetic energy. The more they are heated, molecules eventually reach velocities great enough to break the surface of the water and become steam.
On this episode, we are continuing our groundbreaking theme with more underground extraction. Today, we will discuss Steam Enhanced Extraction or Steam Flooding. This process extracts oil and other harmful contaminates from the earth.

Next week, WARE will be traveling to Las Vegas to attend POWER-GEN International. While we won't be emptying out pockets at the casinos, we will be at booth #3225 and welcome all visitors to come by and say hello.
Next week, we will be headed to Power-Gen in Las Vegas, so we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to talk about a deaerator system and condensate system.
Today on the Boiling Point, Ritchie talks with Steven about the differences between a deaerator system and a condensate system. Both of these systems are able to preheat your feed water system and remove the oxygen from the water; however, they operate a bit differently. As we have mentioned before, water can be very corrosive to the metal in a steam system, so removing as much oxygen as possible is a priority.
On today's Boiling Point, Ritchie and Kevin Burke talk hand holes. Kevin provides experienced industry insight and has been in the industry for more than 30 years. Kevin and Ritchie walk you through the process of installing the hand hole on a condensate system. A hand hole holds water inside the vessel.
