Steam and Music - Steam Culture

Posted by Ritchie Ware on Aug 9, 2016 11:22:22 AM

This episode of Steam Culture focuses on the role that steam has played in music.

Surprisingly enough, there are quite a few songs that either focus on steam in the lyrics or in the actual title of the song.

What do lesser known bands like East 17, who originated from the UK , to classic singers like Peter Gabriel and the Kinks all have in common? They all have sung about steam in one way shape or form, either in the song lyrics or in the titles. If you prefer something more modern, the band Daft Punk has a song where steam is mentioned. To this day James Taylor sings his song Steamroller.

There are quite a few surprising artists that have featured steam in their music. Watch the video to find out the other artists, who feature steam in their songs!
