WARE is introducing a new educational series, Steam Culture. Every Friday, tune into our YouTube channel to see the latest episode of Steam Culture. Our host Brent will take viewers on the adventure of where steam and culture intersect. Brent will introduce viewers to everything one could possibly want to know about steam and the historical figures that made it a crucial tool for the many industrial applications we use today.
Today, Brent will show us how steam was first used by mathematician and engineer of ancient Rome, Hero. His invention, the aeolipile, is considered to be the first use of steam pressure to create mechanical movement and was even used as entertainment for the emperor of Rome in the first century.
As you know, we specialize in taking steam and making it useful for customers. WARE has rental boilers (up to 250,000 pounds an hour!) that create high-pressure steam to produce the things we all enjoy today. Making sure existing boilers are running at their peak efficiency is another one of WARE's many services. If you have a boiler that needs repair or in the market to rent or lease, give us a call. We are happy to help!
In the meantime, indulge in some culture and check out our latest video below.
