WARE is seeking a Videographer-Video Editor to join our team, bringing the WARE brand to life through the creation and production of original materials. The successful candidate will possess the highest level of creative ability, with the ability to work efficiently and independently with a proactive, results-driven mindset.

The Videographer-Video Editor will be responsible for the day-to-day creative video and post-production needs of WARE, including but not limited to: ·       

Creating multiple weekly shows in an accelerated timeframe, such as:

- Steam Culture

-Weekly Boiler Tips

-Boiler Point      

  • Designing and producing innovative motion graphics and videos to be used across multiple platforms
  • Collaborating with WARE Boiler University to create curriculum for training       
  • Maintaining a working video archive of all assets    
  • Capturing WARE functions and events

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Camera Operator and Video Editor for in-house and external corporate communication needs, creating videos to be used in marketing of various services or products WARE offers
  • Create internal training videos for different departments, as well as case study productions of noteworthy projects WARE has completed
  • Manage WARE’s YT channel answering comments that may come in and deciding upon content that should be expanded to generate views, driving overall growth of the channel
  • Manage the library of B-Roll that has been shot and determine new B-Roll that may need to be shot
  • Film on-demand shoots when required, such as one-off training or events that arise
  • Handle all back end of scheduled webinars
  • Light on-camera subjects, with emphasis on interview lighting and portraiture
  • Generate special effects and background images for live productions
  • Edit video footage assets to achieve desired end results
  • Utilize video editing software to add additional graphics, sound, and/or imagery
  • Refine audio through sound design: mixing, adding music, or other post-production work
  • Review, evaluate, edit, and cut footage while partnering with other department’s initiatives
  • Perform a variety of editorial duties to prepare video assets for delivery
  • Maintain video equipment and video archives
  • Develop and add video content to company website or e-commerce platform
  • Upload published videos into appropriate accounts. i.e. Facebook, YouTube, etc.
  • Review content for accuracy
  • May assist with pre-production planning

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or relevant equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of video creation and editing
  • Exceptional communication abilities, with strong grasp of the impact of verbal, written, and listening skills
  • Highly organized with superb time-management skills and appreciation for details
  • Innovative, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Technical understanding of audio recording, basic sound equipment, and mic placement
  • Ability to perform at a high level both individually and as part of a cohesive team
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Adobe Premier, fluent in Premiere Pro and After Effects, I-Movie, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Powerpoint, Photoshop, and Google Analytics
  • Basic understanding and ability to create motion graphics preferred
  • Experience with ENG style filming preferred
  • Experience flying DJI Phantom drones preferred
  • Familiarity with producing content for online consumption such as YouTube preferred
