Pressure Cooker History and Steam Use

Steam History just keeps getting better!

On this edition of Steam Culture, we learn about the pressure cooker. Denis Papin was the inventor of the pressure cooker. The pressure cooker cooks food quickly using a combination of steam and pressure.

After a few mishaps, Denis Papin realized his invention needed a pressure reducing valve that we use today. Watch the video to learn more about steam history.
