How an Allis Chalmers Steam Pump Worked

Welcome back to part 2 of our Steam Culture talk on the steam powered water pump. If you missed part 1, we've provided a link to it at the beginning of this video.

Last week we talked mostly about the history of the Allis Chalmers Steam Pump. This week, we're going to discuss how it operated. This steam pumped moved 30 million gallons of water a day and took about 27 men to operate the pump.
