The Story of the MOTOcycle - in 60 seconds
The first self propelled bike wasn't powered by gas...it was powered by steam!! Today Brent will tell you the story of inventor Sylvester Roper and how he used steam in the 1860's to create the first self-propelled bike also called the MOTOcycle. Motocycle was a word used in the United States in the later 19th century for a horseless carriage, the type of vehicle now known as an automobile.
