On this episode of Steam Culture, Brent will be talking about Hero's steam creation, the Aeolipile. Hero was a famous engineer and mathematician in ancient Rome. The Aeolipile is considered to be the first use of steam pressure to create mechanical movement and was even used as a source of entertainment for the emperor of Rome in the first century.
