Antique Steam Driven Metal Hammer - Steam Culture

Today on Steam Culture, Brent talks about a tool that copper miners used in the early 1800s to 1900s called the Stamp Mill. These would work by pulling large "stamps" up and down with cams crushing whatever was underneath. As with most things, they get better with steam! Watch as Brent goes through the history of stamp mills and how they were improved with the help of steam.
