Explaining The Blowdown Separator - Boiling Point

Today on the Boiling Point, Ritchie talks with Alex Taylor about the Blowdown Separator.

In every steam boiler, there is a blowdown separator. Blowdown is very important since it pulls the sludge from the bottom of the boiler reducing the possibility of build up. This tank allows for the blowdown process to be safe for the operator as it allows the water and steam to be separated.

At WARE we take safety very seriously and we know that you do too. Taking care of to ensure that the blow down process is preformed correctly is part of the safety process.
