Steam Flooding - Steam Culture

We are continuing our groundbreaking theme with more underground extraction.

This week, we will discuss Steam Enhanced Extraction or Steam Flooding, used nationwide. It's another way to remove oil out of the ground for refining. It is also effective for removing contaminates, or harmful items that have entered into the ground.

The process of extraction begins with steam wells and extraction wells drilled into the ground. With high pressure steam and water, engineers are able to extract harmful chemicals and contaminates from the earth.
