What is an Atmospheric Boiler? - Boiling Point

Today on the Boiling Point, Ritchie talks with Gerald Blain about a Parker Boiler which is an atmospheric boiler. The boilers we have talked about before, watertube and firetube, utilize powerful blowers to create specific pressures and speeds to create combustion. Atmospheric boilers are a bit different as the air is pulled naturally from the bottom of the boiler and are not subjected to any pressures. These boilers are bullet proof in their design and made to create pressure on demand.
