New or Rental: Which Boiler is Right?

New or Rental: Which Boiler is Right?

As you may have heard, WARE has the most extensive and impressive inventory of new and rental boilers around. But which one is right for you? Whether you need a new or rental boiler will depend on a lot of factors, and it will definitely merit a discussion with a WARE professional. But in the meantime, here are a few things to consider:

TIME

The first thing to ask yourself is how long you’ll need the boiler. If you’re having work done on your current boiler and can’t afford the downtime, a rental boiler is the perfect solution to keep your business up and running while your regular boiler is offline for a few days, weeks, or months. However, if you are tired of problems with your old boiler and are ready for an upgrade, or if you’re building new construction and have space to hold a boiler, investing in a new boiler will probably be the better choice.

PORTABILITY

Are you looking for steam power for one permanent location, or does your steam need to be more mobile? If you wish to have a full boiler room with the option to move it in the future, consider a containerized boiler. If you’re using a boiler for construction purposes, a rental boiler might be a smarter choice because they’re designed to be moveable. WARE’s rental fleet includes trailer- and skid-mounted boilers, mobile boiler rooms, and mobile hot water boilers that are easy to transport, and entirely self-contained. So you only need to connect the power and the supply lines for water, fuel, drains, and you’ve got steam or hot water.

INVESTMENT

Another thing to consider with regards to a new or rental boiler is cost. If you have the capital to invest in a new boiler system, WARE has plenty of powerful, efficient options that will give you safe, reliable, energy efficient steam for a long, long time. However, if you need something right now but can’t afford the outlay for a new system, a rental boiler can get you up and running now, and keep you running, giving you the option to make the investment in a new system down the line.

OPERATION

If you’re trying to decide between a new or rental boiler, consider who will be operating it. WARE rental boilers are self-contained systems that include all the controls and monitoring equipment needed to run a boiler safely and efficiently, with trained boiler operators available to run them, if needed. If you don’t have a qualified boiler operator on staff, you can still make the investment in a new boiler, as long as you get a trained operator from WARE to run your boiler while your own operator is trained at WARE’s Boiler University.

As we said at the beginning, choosing the right boiler is best done with the advice and input of a professional from WARE. Remember, we’re standing by 24/7 to help you with emergency rental boilers. We have a highly trained staff of salespeople standing by who are personally invested in getting you the right boiler solution. Whatever you need, WARE is here to help.
